NEW SEASON SET TO START WITH WESTCLIFFE

September 11th sees the start of the 2010/11 campaign with a match against old rivals Westcliffe. This season sees the return of Sheppey who most of you will remember. New teams include West Farleigh from Maidstone and All stars from Chartham. All the usual teams are back and raring to go. Lets hope we have another successful and enjoyable season.

The end of season awards was a evening of nostalgia and merryment. Tia was the venue, as usual, and although the room was a bit snug it served us well. The premiere of Munich 2010 went down well as did a look back at some of the more recent tours. The awards went to the following

AT LEAST WE SUNG THE NATIONAL ANTHEM THE LOUDEST

Munich 2010 proved to be arguably the best trip yet. Great Hotel, great city, great match, great hosts and great laughs. From Matt Banks Impromptu aerobics sessions to Batfink the weekend really did have it all. Munich, being famous for its beer, certainly didn't disappoint and the team got through plenty of the stuff over the weekend (don't look into the eyes) .

TRAINING AT PFIZERS

A Wednesday night at Pfizers has been booked through the season for the team to train. The pitch is booked from 8pm to 9pm. However players must tell me before 5pm on the Monday if they can or cannot train on the Wednesday night. If there are insufficient numbers then the training will be cancelled and I will let you know.

To avoid confusion, will everyone let me know on the Monday. Do not tell me after a game.
